You could just as easily have some custom t-shirts made yourself without needing to speak to FD. (Unless you intended to sell them of course)

I am sure they would be thrilled to receive one or two in the mail

But if they are official, everybody wins. FD make money, Essential makes money, and we all get to buy cool t-shirts.
