Been having a few problems where I wanted to connect some parts of my parks via monorail, but always forced to connect with road, but doesn't allow me to just have monorail, like in previous tycoons, as long as some kind of transportation was connected to rides or stores, you didn't always need roads. Most notably Isla Sorna, I wanted to keep the open landscape feature from the start, and have all the dinosaurs run freely without any enclosures and viewing exclusively through gyro spheres, and the guests move around via the monorail with some walled off spots for stores and hotels, but cant have that when you have to connect everything with road, because you either allow the Spinosaurus to run around eating guests or you wall everything off.

You can connect a monorail station to some ride or store and have it working as long as said station is connected to another one linked by path to the Entrance. I thought the same for a long time until someone pointed it out and it was a great discovery.
I do agree more transport options are needed, though. Already suggested the highly requested interconnection of Gyrostations/Jurassic Tour stations and/or interlinking of paths.
Can't bump this enough. Really glad to see request like OP's and other people asking for the same thing because it makes it very likely that Frontier will add it in. Would be a huge help if we could use JT/gyros for transportation but I also wouldnt mind if they made new options like a sky gondola or even skins for the monorail.
