I had an idea for exploration versions. It's generic but can be adjusted to anything. Including non exploration things. It just depends how unique you want them.
Exploration example: Maximum version.
You make a contract with a science firm that needs data on black holes. They contract you do get 100 scans. You need to get them within a time frame. 1 month. But they will payout much more for doing it within one week. The point is to get very close range scans of extremely deadly wormholes for their research. They have a unique scanner to get the info they need.
They give you a unique scanner(fitted for free in a separate slot like other objects) and you are on your way. It will be applied to the ship you are running in. They told you to come prepared in the ship you wish to use. The scanner disappears from the ship with all data after 1 month. This was designed by the contractors so you couldn't cheat. The data would be useless after this time frame and the device locks itself down and basically scraps itself.
These blackholes are the most dangerous type. They are very deadly and you can easily die. If you do die the data from previous scans will be lost. It must be completed in one run(AKA no death per 100 scans). You can die multiple times but if not completed in time you get no rewards.
The payout is 200million if done within a real world month. The payout is increased to 1 billion if done within a real world week.
This could be a maxed mission that is only completable by the best ships in the game with the best layouts for exploration and the best pilots. They should be difficult and something you can easliy die against over 100 scans. The payout should be earned. The job would require you to find objects above a certain parameter to count. When it does the scanner will indicate it is sufficient and you have to get close to get the official scan using their scanner under it's needed parameters. Which in this case would be extremely close up. This could have different variations for different mission types of similar payout.

Lower level ones could be done for much less money. Say a slightly easier one could be done for 20 million for a month and 100 million for 1 week. It should still be dangerous and hard to do but maybe takes lesser risk in one form or another. Or less objects. Say a lesser one at that value for 50 scans with slightly easier wormholes or slightly less risky parameters like allowing greater distance on the scans.
The same could be applied to kill mission or various other takes like mining or hauling. But can be modified to fit those professions.
