I posted a thread with ideas to improve the game before (link). I have a few more now and want to know what people think.
- Ability to steal exploration data
- Would add a bit more danger to exploration
- Would add a new piracy path
- Ability to transfer credits to another player
- Dropping cargo as payment takes a long time
- Cargo canisters can get destroyed easily
- When an NPC pirate interdicts a player, they do a cargo scan before they start shooting
- If there is no cargo, the pirate leaves
- Prevents unnecessary destruction of players who have no cargo to drop.
- Limpets do NOT count as cargo to pirates
- When a pirate scans you, it sees limpets as cargo, and will try to steal them, even though they cannot be sold.
- Rather than nerfing shield cells, put a limit on the frequency they can be used, i.e., add a cooldown
- Add black markets to system data on the galaxy map
- Add ship naming
- Allow the slaving of the drives and FSD of a second ship to the first; this would allow the transport of ships from one station to another.
- Ability to buy goods from Luxuries Traders
