More info during contact "swaps" to make more informed decisions

New Player here. Sooo, I picked up an assassination contract on a Pirate Lord and proceeded to jump to the target system when I got a critical mission update. A faction was offering me a larger sum to change my target. So here's the problem, the mission update on the comm ui gave me 3 items of information: the target; the new award sum; and what I believe was the targets affiliated faction...there's no way for me to tell who's giving me this new contract and what kind of target I'm going after until after I've already accepted it. I believe this is an issue because after I accepted the new contract with dollar bills in my eyes, I found out the new target was not a wanted criminal and belonged to a Federal aligned faction. I had no intention of racking up a bounty on myself when I accepted the original contract. I wanted to keep my targets on the other side of the law. Life is just easier when I don't crap in my own backyard and have bounty hunters and Federal Agents accosting me, especially when I'm trying to get into the Federations good graces. I abandoned the mission feeling kind of mislead. Please make it to where more information is given during potential contract "swaps" to enable more informed decisions. Oh and btw, the name and system on the contract title were different than the contracts actual target and system. Possible bug.

I think the fact that you have little information on the target is what makes it more realistic. You're already on an assassination mission so they're hoping you've lowered morals and would be willing to accept the risk. Not knowing that the new target is not wanted and you could incur a bounty is pretty cool in my opinion and I'd vote the existing system remain this way... a bit of cloak and dagger
