It would be nice to see a bit more info about the ship you ant to buy. Also ALL the mods that are available at that station.
1. At present, you have the information about tonnage, shields, armour, what modules are on it and so on. What you don't have is any indication of what the base jump range is and on most ships with a E rated FSD, it's tiny, even unladen.
2. Also, I'd like to see what size FSD's etc a station sells. If you're buying a bigger ship, you really want to upgrade the FSD almost immediately. Unless your current ship uses the same size FSD, (which is ludicrous since you're upgrading to a bigger ship), you have no idea if the station sells the size for your new ship.
You fly in with a ship that has a size 4 FSD and buy a ship that has a size 6 FSD. You find out that the station does not sell the size 6 FSD so you'll have to jump to another system to buy it. Only you can't because the base jump range will not allow you to jump to the nearest system. You either sell the ship again at a loss or strip it down in the hope that you'll shed enough tonnage to make the jump. If the information given in 1 & 2 above were available, you could work this out before you bought it.
Alternatively, allow us to buy a large FSD for one of our other ships and transport it, (providing there is enough cargo space in the ship to carry it), to the new ship for fitting. Ie: (for arguments sake) I buy a T9 in Lave and go to Leesti with my Cobra (40 tonne cargo) to buy a 6A FSD for the T9. The A6 FSD weighs in at 40 tonnes so the Cobra can carry it. I fly back to the station that holds the T9 and fit the A6 FSD and only then do I get the discount for selling my E6 FSD.
