Hey FD,
Is there any chance we can get variations on the current missions, that not only spawn more hostiles to stop you. Lots more, a hunting party, large wings, etc.
But also impact your reputation with the target faction significantly more?
For example, a data scan mission is usually done without a hitch.
But a more difficult version could guarantee that ships are spawned to stop you, after you've scanned the data terminal, and quite relentlessly, so not just 1 Interdiction, but many. (Basically, they have orders to stop you at all costs).
Also, your reputation with the data terminals owner is reduced significantly, and it shouldn't take many missions against them, to turn them hostile to you.
This could apply to almost every mission. Assassination missions would almost certainly put your rep in to Hostile, incredibly quickly. And most definitely send ships to take you down for killing one of theirs.
Currently, it feels like it's very difficult to actually become hostile with factions from missions. So far, the only faction I've become hostile with, is from randomly murdering their NPC's.
These missions would be labelled more clearly as advanced missions, or something.
This would add the challenge and consequences to missions that many of us would like, but without disrupting the game for those that don't.
It could also be done as a separate "advanced" mission board or something.
I dunno. Lol
