Hands up. My bad.
In a veritable lather of enthusiasm I bought the lifetime expansion pass. Only to realise I ALREADY HAD ONE via premium beta. Entirely my fault and I've raised a ticket hoping to get a refund (I've received no digital goods thus far). Presumably my misplaced excitement (or stupidity, depending on your POV) won't deprive me of my consumer rights.
Nevertheless, once I got down to thinking about it there do seem some variables in the new "seasons" approach and offer that overlap and aren't clarified. There's the Cobra Mk IV (I want it), there's Horizons itself, and Horizons Beta (I want them) and there's the future. I think my premium beta caters for some of this but then I thought, anxiously, "what if the LEP is somehow more encompassing than what I've got?" and "will I get the Cobra without somehow buying into the expansions?" and so on.
This still isn't clear to me (and I've checked the FAQs).
Perhaps a new "table of entitlement" would help, given the splendid array of goodies forthcoming. I don't mind paying to secure them (the game is, to my mind, worth every penny) but not overpaying, obviously.
