I have been playing Odyssey since Beta days. However, over the last three months I have experienced problems maintaining any kind of connection. I will gain connection and then in a short period of time whilst doing various undemanding tasks - Setting course, using FSS, searching for systems, moving around a station - whatever, I will be kicked out to the desktop. I come back in and invariably the same thing happens again.
This evening i ambitiously planned to travel to Colonia (in Odyssey): as usual nowadays, while setting up my route to the first waypoint, I was kicked out. I decided I would go back in but using Horizons. I went back in, set up my route and completed the first 1000LY section of my trip without any kind of problem (that is once I'd set my Key bindings, which never seem to survive the switch between Odyssey and Horizons).
I've already been to Colonia twice in Horizons and would really like to make the trip in Odyssey and find some juicy biological specimens on the way so I would be grateful if anyone could suggest why I am having so much trouble staying connected in Odyssey yet am still able to travel in Horizons without difficulty.
