More options for Military slots

I just recently got myself a Gunship, and I honestly really like everything except the internal options. This issue would be fixed however, if I could use military slots for more military items:
Sheilds
Fighter bay
Interdictor
AFM

Why just shield cells and hull boosts?

Then it would be just a normal module slot.
