Towards the centre of the Galaxy, the stars are so dense and the sky is going to be so bright, that any explorers who get that far will be permanently wearing shades and on the verge of being microwaved to a crisp. Seriously, looking at the Galaxy map is painful.
In the new build the number of systems available is proportional to the number of positive posts divided by the number of perceived negative posts. The OEF factor as its known was introduced to reward positive posting. It is of course possible that some may see less systems.
I fully expect to see a little more real estate in the not to distant future so have patience my friend. Good things come to those who wait.
You better give my thread some stars then..a few rule nazis werent pleased with my decision to blindly disregard the safety of everyone here, and post a potentially redundant topic
No stars from me I'm afraid. This is definitely a redundant topic and I agree with "rules nazis" or whatever you call them. I call them awesome dudes that test the game at FD's pace
Isn't one of the major aims of this version to stress test and let them work out the net code issues by having so many players in one place ? Opening the range up before that is done isn't going to achieve that.
Its basically a stress test: Letting 10k-15k people all crammed into multiple instances in just 5 systems to see if the network can handle it.
If the network CAN handle it then spreading the same (or more) players into thousands of civilised systems and others exploring beyond the frontier should be a piece of pie
