More Sandbox Settings

So, I was trying to make basically Site B in sandbox, with a bunch of random herbivores scattered about. But, they kept fighting eachother over population, and even fighting their own species.
I propose the idea to add more settings.
A. The settings from JWE 1, such as Disable Population Limit
B. Option to disable the need to use rangers to survey the status of dinosaur moods in Sandbox
C. Unlimited Modifications in gene modding (option anyway) in sandbox, and the ability to give negative traits
D. Possibly other Quality Of Life changes, can't think of any right now.

Thanks for reading!

I agree with the removal of status checks. It really seems that developers made the game with a more competitive mindset rather than a enjoy the park mindset. Sandbox really highlights this with the need for scientists, staff and control center are needed, need to do status checks so you need a ranger station to remove the annoying symbol over each dino, and that you can't edit the dino dna freely and most of all: needing to complete challenge modes to get access to all dinos and maps. I am doubtful the competitive side of the game is actually worthy of more than just the achievements, it's not like people go to national championships to compete or post their 5 star times on a leaderboard. It's a park builder and should be treated as such. Sandbox should have signifigately more control over the different aspects of the dinos and all the should be needed for a sandbox mode is the hatchery.

Ideally the way I want to enjoy the game is to make as many dinos as possible, make a single tour ride that circles the map, then sit back and listen and watch the dinos from the comfort of my virtual ride. But as it is, too many restrictions or requirements to do that and you get kicked off the tour rides when they go back to base instead of just starting in a new vehicle.

Well then what's the point of playing other modes when everything is unlocked in sandbox? Unlocking dinos and maps by other modes are just a motivation to play other modes.

I totally agree with your point about being able to enjoy sandbox mode. In the original game I would make a Jurassic Tour that would cover almost the entire extent of the map. I would have herds of different herbivores from the same time period and dig site. I would have carnivores walk around. And I would put the settings that none of the dinosaurs would kill each other. They would walk around like it was a nature preserve and I would take the tours and enjoy them. I hope the devs listen to the players on this point and make sandbox mode the same way sandbox mode was on the 1st game. The point of that mode is to enjoy it.

For the challenge in itself, if you need a reward to play the other modes then that's on you. Frontier will still get their money from people purchasing the game for the sandbox, challenges, or both. If you really need something to work for, they can simply give you skins like in the first game to unlock for completing the challenge modes, oh wait, they did the same thing again for completing challenges at various difficulties. Do you play every mode of every game?
For those that paid money to get access to certain dinos it's silly to have them unavailable from the start since the whole point of paying for extras is to get them immediately.

Sandbox settings allowing all species to be placed in an enclosure; both carnivores and herbivores. Playing on the PS4 I know that there are certain limitations. But, if I'm in Sandbox, I would like to create a Jurassic Tour with with herds of ceratopsians or hadrosaurs and some ankylosaurids and a couple Tyrannosaurs to demonstrate an eco system from back then. I just hope Frontier can make it possible to have something like that in Sandbox again. Because in JWE, that was one of my favorite things to do. Herds of sauropods, stegosaurs, some Allosaurus and Ceratosaurs. The parks looked like natural preserves for dinosaurs. And that is a big thing that is missing in sandbox. And bring back placeable trees.
