More Ships at Release?

Will they add more ships at release on the 16th? Cause many aren't available yet. Two more for release would be nice though they'll add the rest overtime.

I heard 15 ships will be playable on the 16th.
But I think that's the ships we already have now.

There has been no word on this but I wouldn't be surprised if they'll add another ship or two for release.

But as for me, I don't think it matters. By the time I will have tried all the ships that are in game now, a few months will pass and by that time more ships will be available for sure.

The Freegle, and everyone sells it right off the bat to get 40k credits to outfit the starter Sidewinder or buy a Hauler to mine or make trade runs. So hooray..maybe we should simply start out with more than 1000cr to our names. Gamma 3.0..err Grind 3.0 coming your way soon.

No, there will be 5 more ships eventually, not at release:

"in fact I’m delighted to be able to tell you that we are now planning to eventually have 30 playable ships in Elite: Dangerous, 5 more than we committed to in Kickstarter."
