More "small ships" needed

Hi.
Don't you think there are too many différents ships ?

IMO, Each major faction should have is own light Fighter (Eagle like), Support ship (10-12 M), Assault ship (40-50 M) and Fregate.
And if we can manage to buy quickly a Cobra and, a few days later, an ASP or a Vulture, then we have to wait ... too much long before the Federal Dropship or the Clipper. I don't even think about Python/FDL...

Having some "10-12 Millions credits" ships could be nice.

There will never be too many different ships! We need ALL the options! I would definitely love to see some more smaller ships though. As well as a large carrier to house all the small ships.

There is definitely a price gap, but I'm thinking the diamondback is going to slot in the 15- 30 million range, hopefully more will follow in the coming months. And who knows maybe today's newsletter will give us pricing!

I agree that there should be a lot of variety especially in the small and middle range. Luckily it seems both the Courier and the Diamondback will fit the bill.

What I would like to see is something like this:

Add the Mamba as a ship in the same size as sidewinder, but it is faster, because it is more modern. Slightly more expensive than a sidey and cannot be had for free.

Add the Krait as something between the Cobra and the Adder. Multirole but with a slant towards a fighter. Not as fast as the Cobra.

Add the Boa Cruiser as a large combat ship. Bigger than FDL but as combat focused.

Add the Wolf as a bigger, meaner Cobra.. as fast as the cobra, but more space, weapons and shields... slightly less manuverable...

Might need some tweaking.. but you get the point.

Might be just me but, I still love the Saker MKIII from FFE.

Would be nice to have more variety around the cobra range, as well as more purpose to keep flying those ships.

I think that more ships as fast as the cobra is a good idea, too many ships just can't catch up.

Lots of ships! We will have around 30, but what comes after is open I would think, and while I do prefer flying the smaller ships, all are welcome in my eyes, they all add to richer environment.

Variants . I have a feeling this is where decision making in terms of ships and load outs will get a bit more diverse.

I'd like to see the Boa, Gecko, Mamba, Krait and Moray. To add to this each faction (Imperial, Federation, Alliance) should have its own set of ships with their own strengths and weaknesses. This would make 1v1 combat more interesting.

Personally I think we need more big ones, and maybe mid range, and some smaller ones.. and some to fill the gaps in-between.. More...

There is certainly ships missing. But more are coming. There should be at least one for each faction of each kind.
