Once again I feel I might be repeating previous questions since I am late to joining the Elite series and beta but my hunger for more news and knowledge is high.

Will there be more stations for each sector? For right now beta allows one station for each sector. For example Chango Dock for all of iBootus.

Is this just standard beta behavior for games? Or is it just one station for one sector?

Anyone with beta background knowledge that can calm my impatience or a resource that keeps me close to updates would be great!

This community by the way is extremely friendly and patient with repeated questions and new comers! Thank you!

In keeping with lore, I expect there'll be multiple stations in some sectors eventually, but only in large, rich core-type systems (like Sol from Frontier).

It wouldn't be right to restrict every colonised system to just one station.

it will come.. this is still beta. Easy to add things like that later.
In Elite Frontier for example, you started in Sol solar system, where you could visit a few stations & trade for profit.

There were previously, in core systems like Sol, multiple station available to dock at, Earth had quite significant number all by itself, Gigantic ones! as well as Mars and other planets too. Not to mention actual ground based spaceports.

Bulletin boards were populated by npcs looking for jobs as crew on ships, transport to other locations, packages to be delivered and people there were just too much of an annoyance to be allowed to continue to exist. Military career options, hippies with a clueless cause and charities looking to relieve you of hard-earned.

I'm pretty sure this can only get better and more involved with todays technology and knowhow, things were way more limited back then but the market was still very diverse and there were a great many ship upgrades and fitting paths to pursue at least in the later games Frontier Elite and Frontier Elite II.

I'd forgotten all about the 3 mega-stations in Earth orbit in Frontier.

One of my definite aims in this game will be to go sightseeing to Sol, Lave & Achenar at some point just to reconnect with my stomping grounds from previous games.
