I just recently ran into that little scenario and it was kind of awesome. Was going to make a post like "hey, look what I found", then googled and realized it's been there forever.
As someone that's mostly into solo combat, I have little interest in the tip off missions that have me flying out to the middle of nowhere for a couple 100k credits. A tip off for a bounty that's relatively close by and on the same level as soloing a wing assassination mission would be fun.
My allies know I'm able to end a conflict zone pretty quick. If they reached out to me periodically like, "We have this extra incentive to quickly end 10 conflict zones; please come help"...I'd stop everything; especially if it paid well.
I'm not sure if you track 'why' people are allied with a faction (i.e. the type of missions), but if I'm allied because I murdered 1k pirates, sending me a request to murder more pirates is logical. If I decline, I'd expect to lose some rep. If I succeed, I expect 50 million credits or similar.
