More Variation to Exhibits

I really like the exhibit animal system (even if I do wish the animals were a little more mobile), but I can't help but feel a little annoyed that I'm using such a huge terrarium for something like giant snails or tarantula. Personally I think we need more in terms of these exhibits, some that are smaller, some that are perhaps even larger (for when we might get a green anaconda or something). My local zoo has a reptile house mostly for New Zealand's native reptiles which (aside from the Tuatara) are all pretty small, but what they've done is stack the smaller tanks. Something could be done like that in Planet Zoo - an exhibit that has the same grid dimensions, but rather than using the whole space for a single exhibit it actually contains two or three smaller ones in a row from top-to-middle (still at viewing height for guests, of course - we wouldn't want people crouching down). These could be used for tarantula, snails, cockroaches, and smaller reptiles (like smaller geckos if we get any in the future).

This sort of system would also be good for Frontier to experiment with if they ever want to add aviaries, since different birds require vastly different spaces. An eagle, for example, would require something tall and wide, but parrots are typically happy in something less expansive. Then if you want flocks, you get bigger aviaries.

Additionally there's the question of aquaria, if that ever comes about. Big tanks, small tanks, community tanks, single-fish tanks, and so on. All different shapes and sizes. I'd like to see something like that, but a good place to start would be the exhibits. There's no need for a couple of tarantula to have an enclosure as large as the one the green iguana requires.

Agreed. Many of the zoos that I have been to have all sorts of different sized exhibits, including some for small mammals like kangaroo mice and bats and such.

Definitely on board with this. Especially the bit about the different sized exhibits (and being able to add more variation to them).

yes, this would be very awesome, Im a bit bored by the limited options for the exhibits.
as we have a lot of exhibit animals I would highly welcome more possibilities..

yes please, I so would like to have more sizes of vivariums and other tanks, that woul give us possibilities to build whole vivarium "cities" in the heart of a zoo, but only one size gets boring fast no matter what you build arround it
