I swear, there is literally less than 10 different voices you hear in the game, whether that is your NPC crew repeating the same lines over again, the new Ch4 Scenario VO voices (that British guy I swear was wearing a top hat and monocle as he did the voice over 
) or that one British voice at stations that is the audible equivalent of nails down a chalkboard. There isn't enough voices in the game!!! unless in the future everyone either clones themselves or is inbred to the point they sound the same.
I suggest merely to have some voices added, and preferably not all British... One idea would be to start up an audition submission process, I am willing to bet there are Elite fans (like me ) who would love to have their voices added for free!!! The required lines are posted on a webpage (much like the CG suggestion page) people who want to volunteer just read the lines how they wish and FDev just revises them and picks the ones they like!
Then presto! Elite now has a more diverse atmosphere with more voices, and I no longer have to claw my ears off to that British traffic controller voice I hear at almost every darn station.
Bonus points if...and a very BIG if, some star voice talents got on hand. Imagine William Shatner (Captain Kirk from original Star Trek Series), Patrick Stewart (Captain Piccard From Star Trek TNG), Morgan Freeman ( renowned for his voice) and various others! although, I imagine that'd come with a hefty price tag (unless they did it for fun)
