The most awesome moment in the game was when i got attacked by an NPC with my own surname, i got blasted to pieces because i was so surprised by it, what are the awesome moments of others?

Getting interdicted by a Cobra NPC in my brand new Asp on its maiden trade run. After successfully defeating this troublesome rogue, I re-entered SC and continued my journey to the outpost I was trading with. Boomed out of SC feeling pretty damn pleased with myself, enjoying the new sounds of Asp engineering at it's best, requested docking, aimed at the pad, came in wayyyy too hot & before I could yell "where's the brakes?" had smashed my lovely new baby into very small pieces.
Elation to shock in a little less than 2 minutes lol

When the Majestic-class interdictor jumped out of Frameshift. It lasted for about 15 seconds, until it opened fire and I realized that all guns together had about the same firepower as an Anaconda.

Trying to push a damaged and lame buddy towards a station 35km away. Got him to 20km before a bad knock span him off and we gave up.

When the canopy of my Cobra bursted during a fight with a juicy wanted Python. Luckily I got the 10 minute life support, because he was so wiggly. He managed to mangle my Cobra but I did destroy him. Then I had to stand up in my room with the DK2 to see the HUD on the broken pieces on my way to the station.

Hmm... so far...

Probably the first time I jumped onto a white dwarf and got slammed into the emergency warp exit radius before I could react. Either that, or the first time I forgot to ask for docking permission on a coriolis starport, went in the docking bay carefully and suddenly all kinds of alarms start yelling with a countdown in the middle of the screen...

Most awesome moment ? too many to list :

Having enough money to buy an Adder. Entering said Adder. Hearing said Adder roar. Having money for a Type-6 and getting one. Flying a Type-6 after one month of A-thrusted Viper.
Permit to Sol.
Friendly with the Empire as a whole.
Seeing the Home World.
Hey, that system isn't that far, only 20 LY... hey, that one isn't far either... Hey... I've travelled 200LY and forgot to sell my Cobra !
I'm a 28% hull and this anaconda's at 56%. I know I can take him out. Taking out said Anaconda.
Oh blimey I "accidentally" hit security with my madz lazors !
What do you mean, loitering ? Oh crap, that's right, forgot to request docking permission. (locking an AI Type-7 in the letterbox while trying to get out of a coriolis backward in less than 30 seconds)
