Most Likely Animals to Come (or what is most needed)

None really. The only ones with an international presence are the North Island brown kiwi, tuatara, and the kunekune pig (which is a domestic breed though relatively iconic to New Zealand - for PZ this would be a similar tier to the llama). Australia of course has little blue penguins, which are also a New Zealand species.
There are kea in several zoos in Europe. I know at least Burgers' Zoo and Budapest Zoo have them. I don't think I've seen any other New Zealand animal in zoos, except what would be exhibit animals.

Ok, I was just curious on how we could get some representation from there

I find myself agreeing with everyone’s suggestions in one way or another. The one thing I’d chime in, to echo a point made in another thread, is that to some degree, Frontier’s shown that fan demand is not the highest dictator of what will go in. The comment I’m referencing pointed to the addition of the Black-and-white Ruffed Lemur, making the point that it seemed to rank fairly low on compiled wishlists as far as demand, yet that’s what we got anyway. Honestly, I was one of the ones calling for the Europe pack, and I didn’t expect we’d get it before avians or a biome pack. So I really have no clue as to the direction Frontier will take. Just my two cents.

True, very good point. Although, there's one thing to putting highly requested animals in DLC, it's another matter entirely to give us a much less requested animal for free.

I am actually really surprised they haven't made another bird on the peafowl rig and the same for the flamingo.
As it was pointed out earlier it seems like most rigs (with some adjustments) will typically be used for at least 2 species. But these birds have been left alone so far.
I was so very hoping for a capercaillie with the Europe pack, that's actually what inspired me to join here, to at least have my say. Modders will never (or at least not soon) be able to do the sounds of them justice, not like frontier would, and I just can't have a "capercaillie" that sounds like a peacock. Another pheasant, fine, but not the haunting sounds of the capercaillie :(
