So where is the most remote occupied area? I've been to colonia before and stayed a good while. Seen an obsidantant vid yesterday and didn't realize that there were settlements back the other way. I was gonna go back to colonia, but those are actually branches of the bubble. And the ammonia worlds in some of the systems make me wanna head that way just to see what happens. Colonia is 22k LY off. Anything further than that that way?

Colonia is the furthest known settled region from Sol by a significant margin.
Other than Colonia (and its trail of outposts back to the Sol bubble) I don't think there's anything more than 8k from Sol - the outposts in Heart and Soul are the next furthest out, with Crab and Eagle Nebulae not far behind.

There are lists out there, for settlements beyond 500+.
In a live stream a couple of months ago, Dav stated that there was more populated areas that we haven't found yet, not just colonia and the bubble. Read into that what you will but as some one suggested use the filter and spend some time on the galmap. I tend to do this every time I go out exploring, not found anything except astroid bases, but I do so in hope
