I don't look at missions I can't take anymore. They shouldn't be there anyway.. or in a way that makes sense. Like a teaser for your next rank.
I think they are there so you can check for missions you could take if you were in a different ship. Cargo hold and stuff like that.
Exactly. I was close to allied with one party that required it for me to do it, so one small donation of credits later (luckily there was an option on the BB) and I could take the mission.
It's suppose to reflect a public bulletin board...why shouldn't they be there?
It's like saying that an bulletin on a real life board shouldn't be there because you personally have no use for it.
These kind of missions actually makes sense, in a strange kind of way. Remember there are those missions where you can't deliver your cargo because you have to deliver to an outpost and you took the mission on a ship that only can land on large pads. A warning or just telling us what kind of station you have to deliver to would easily solve that.
But missions that need Elite or Founder rank doesn't actually make sense to show when you are far below the required rank.
Ssshhhh... Keep this under your hat. If the devs get to hear about it we'll be told next that the mission payments are still not right and need another fix. In the meantime, nab every one you can.
And that doesn't make sense too. Its like an open invitation for pirates. In a perfect simulation with a public bulletin board pirates would only have to wait till the "deliver 20t silver" is taken.. you see my point I guess.
