Just this one, and then I’ll do Africa.
In your opinion, what marine/aquatic animal, both in the game or not in the game, do you believe does not receive enough recognition from the Planet Zoo community? My list mainly focuses on ocean animals, but animals found in freshwater environments also count. Here are some of mine:
In your opinion, what marine/aquatic animal, both in the game or not in the game, do you believe does not receive enough recognition from the Planet Zoo community? My list mainly focuses on ocean animals, but animals found in freshwater environments also count. Here are some of mine:
- Leafy and Weedy Sea Dragons - I believe that these would be a good fit for an exhibit-sized aquarium. They’re bigger than the typical seahorse and are much more visually unique.
- Lesser Devil Ray - Manta rays are not too common in aquariums, but if you want something smaller other than the cownose and southern stingrays that you often find in touch pools, then this one is the one for you. They require less space and bear some similarities to mantas.
- Sawfish - A critically endangered that deserves more love.
- Cuttlefish - One of the most interesting mollusks in the ocean. They even share many traits with octopi.
- Harbor Seal - They always get overshadowed by the walrus and other pinnipeds.
- Sandtiger Shark - One of the most common sharks in aquariums barely gets any recognition.
