Most wanted coaster types?

I was looking through some videos on the summer update. I'm not sure, but I believe the guy I was watching (JLW Games) said several new types were coming. And that got me thinking;

There are many coaster types out there. Are there ones we want more than others?

My answer? Yes. I've been wanting to make an Alton Towers recreation for a while but I don't want to do it until we get a Gerstlauer Infinity coaster in the game. That model is what The Smiler is.

I also want the Vekoma Flying Dutchman in too. Yeah, we have the B&M Flyer. But it would be cooler if we had the Flying Dutchman too. Unlike the Flyer, the Flying Dutchman starts standing up, then it lowers itself backwards. Cool, right? A good example of one of these is Firehawk at Kings Island.

Is there any other models you want in?

Wild Mouse (a steel one and an old school wooden one), wooden Flying Turns and modern bobsled, old woodie trains like Century Flyers. Steeplechase horses! Old Schwarzkopf coasters. Shuttle loops...both the Schwarzkopf/Intamin ones and the old Arrow ones. Spinning Wild Mouse, old steel Wildcats and Galaxis. And the big one for me...some sort of motion based vehicle coaster like the Escape from Gringott's ride...cars can be rotated and tilted...and the track can have switches and tilts and things.

I've always wanted to ride a Schwarzkopf coaster but the only one I know of is in Mexico.

Schwarzkopf Steel Looping Coaster, this coaster been in shuttle coasters, steel looping coasters (Looping Star, Olympia Looping) you name it. This classic coaster is a must for Planet Coaster.

Yes! The Flying Dutchman model and Vekoma Suspended looping Coaster (SLC)...

I know the Flying Dutchman model was "supposed" to have seats recline while the train was going up the lift hill, but this feature failed to work properly while Firehawk was at its original home "Geauga Lake/Six Flags Worlds of Adventure". I worked there and can definitely confirm the seats reclined in the station.

Nevertheless, hope we eventually get it and that we have the "seats recline on lifthill or in station option".

AGREED SMILER Entertainment!

Prior to the Spring update, I wanted the Suspended coaster, wish granted. Onto the next, Inverted Impulse coaster, seems it's a thing for the Summer update. So onto the currently not added and desired coaster, the Steel Coaster from Roller Coaster Tycoon 1, or at least taking a track that matches said coaster type but giving the ability to swap train types.

Seconding this. Six Flags America is my second-nearest park, and their Vekoma Flying Dutchman, Batwing, is one of the highlights of the park. I went to Six Flags Great Adventure, and Superman Ultimate Flight, the B&M flier, was a disappointment in comparison.

Im already very satisfied with all the available coaster types and dont think I know which ones more I want. Maybe a swinging plane coaster with a spiral coaster lift?

I just wish we could switch cars sometimes. I want those nice rounded vekoma cars we use on the vekoma boomerang also on a looping coaster. And also have hydraulic or LIM launch on looping coasters. I dont think if that counts as a new coaster type, more like extra cars and special elements on the existing coasters. And hydraulic launch on a coaster that isn't the formulla rossa so I can finally remake Kingda Ka (we should be able to make that one by now)

No doubt the bobsled coaster.

Oh yeah totally forget about that one!

I remember them being difficult to make in previous games, they always crashed when you didnt make enough brakes. Eventhough that was a big part of the fun [big grin]

Does @Marnit mean the Bobsled Coaster like Sarajewo Run/Flying Turns, or the Gerstlauer Bobsled family coasters (think Wild mouse with curves and steep drops)?

Or the one like the Bob in de Efteling?

Either one of those would be great.
