Well done, I quite enjoyed that.

I so wish the game had an actual in-game news channel that you could watch and listen to while flying around. I think it'd add an immense amount of life to the game world to be flying around with the news on to hear some breaking report about a war going on or even something as simple as talk about average citizens across the galaxy in their daily lives. We would also of course need catchy commercial advertisements in-between the news stories to tell us just why we should buy Zorgon Peterson Haulers or how exquisite Lavian Brandy really is :p ... and so forth, you get the idea.


I hope the developers take some inspiration from this, if not, well, I guess it's up to the community to do it and I can just put a playlist playing on my 2nd monitor as I play.


Anyway, once again, well done.

Great ideas on the commercials!
I like that. How about having recruiting incentivizers for the major factions,
aimed at the "lazy youth, that has get off their sims into the real world"?

All is doable,
there is a thread a bout a voice acting project of the community,
care to participate?
I would cry rivers of rum,
if it becomes a stub.

Was fw190a8's idea,
he gave me some well thought questions to answer,
and has implemented the communication in great way.
Reminded me of Knight Rider with the tuner in the corner.
That guy is awesome,
and i hope he will keep his spirit high
and continue the news feed.
Maybe next time, another story,
is there to be told by that fearless journalist.

I wonder if he did trade in his pulse lasers for his microphone and pen.
Was great fun doing this stuff,
give yourself a go;)

Oh i surely hope i didn't mess up trying to bring a bit of a spanish accent to the morphed voice;)
