Mount Headlights on the SRV Turret.

On the dark side of a planet, if you want to look behind you using the turret, there is no illumination and you can't see anything.

Mounting lights on the turret will let to see 360 degrees so you can spot items, terrain features, targets, etc. When you go back to the lower chair the turret snaps to the front and will give you light out front where you need it.

Also, the "high beams" on the SRV lights need to go further like spot lights and not just get brighter as they do today. When driving fast you don't see any further with the brighter lights, they need to be focused and projected further out to see what's coming.

I'd rather the turret had different view modes - image amplification, infra-red, zoom, etc.

More versatile than just a spotlight.

I have a thread on page 2 or 3 about surface mission ideas...I make mention of additional SRV detection modes including light, magnetic, and thermal.

As for OP, to be honest...I'd prefer a SECOND set of lights on the turret.
