Mouse Control Question

Hello all, I wanted to get my ship to have yaw movement for the left and right of mouse moment and pitch movement for up and down, and roll movement for a and d keys. I was successful in doing that however when I move my mouse up it tilts the nose of the ship up, like it should. However, if I move the mouse down a little bit my ship tilts down and then tilts back up.

If I push the mouse up so that my pitch movement is at full and move the mouse slightly down, my ship tilts up then tilts down when the mouse moves down and then the ship goes back to tilting up.

What setting is causing this? I want to tilt my mouse up to tilt the ship up as well, but when I tilt my mouse down, I want the ship to tilt slightly less up, not tilt down then tilt back up.

Sorry, I feel like I am phrasing my question badly but I just started playing today.

You probably mapped the mouse axis to one of the digital controls. Try mapping the axis to the pitch axis only, not to the digital axes (there are two options).

Hm, ok, I looked at the settings and all the digital controls are blank except the roll category where I did A and D.

Hm, the areas are empty and when I tried to assign new keys to the yaw and pitch I still have the problem.

Ok, I figured it out. There was an option for Mouse Mode I hit Absolute Pitch/Yaw. Apparently that made the mouse do what I wanted to do, I didn't have to go to the pitch and yaw settings and do it manually, which messed everything up.
