Mouse doesn't work

Hey guys. I just bought Elite Dangerous via Steam and I instantly stumbled over a problem.
I couldn't find a thread, so plz redirect me, if nessecary.

Well, when I start the game, I simply can't move the cursor at all.

If the mouse cursor is not showing at all, open the game and navigate to Options -> Graphics and you can change the cursor option based in your preference/what works:

If you're trying to control the ship with the mouse and it is not working, go to Options -> Controls and make sure your configs looks like this:

But before that, make sure your computer is connected to a power source and turned on, that you have a mouse connected to it via USB/Bluetooth/PS2 and all other pre-checks.

Depends on which menu you are in. Mouse should work in the main menu and the galmap and a few other in-game screens, but usually, you'll need to move the cursor with WASD or the arrow buttons.

One more thing. In the options/graphics, make sure that you have the game set to fullscreen, not windowed because the mouse pointer can get stuck outside the window for ED, so you can't see or use it.

Ok, I get that...there is NO mouse in the spaceship. I use the KB and press LAUNCH, and nothing happens except the "Main/Chat" comes up and says "TO [LOCAL]"
That is as far as I get.
My mouse works when I first log in and everywhere outside of Elite.............HELP!

Sounds like you pressed "ENTER" instead of "SPACE" ... - Enter is the default binding for Quick Comms.
