Newcomer / Intro Mouse locked inside game screen

Coming back to ED after a few years and want to use some additional external apps but have noticed that my mouse cursor is contained within the ED game window and can't move out to another screen or app unless I Alt Tab, which minimises ED.
Can't remember if this used to happen or not but is there a way around this behaviour so I can just move my mouse to another screen - just thinking, possibly had it set to borderless windowed before an now full screen...?

It happens sometimes in FullScreen

Usually only once for me. alt-Tabbing out and in seems to make the windows mouse disappear again

Yes, fullscreen essentially makes the game window the only screen/space for mouse cursor to move within. Set it to borderless/windowed option and you'll be able to move the cursor outside it.

I am running 2 screens, main with ED and others on second screen, running ED in borderless and can move mouse between screens - but I have got to click onto ED before I can interact with it.
