Mouse won't move

Hey all,

the title says it all. I can't move my mouse when not in a space station and trying to open the menu or the galaxy map. Same thing in CQC, after the first match I just can't move the mouse anymore... Already tried changing from borderless mode to fullscreen, but that didn't change anything either :(
Has anybody had the same problem and found a workaround?

It appears to be a Steam Overlay problem.

You can either run EDLaunch.exe directly from wherever Steam put it on your hard disk, or instead, whenever you have the mouse problem Shift-Tab into the Steam Overlay and immediately Shift-Tab back out. Should fix it for a bit, at least until it comes back, but you can repeat as necessary.

This - started with my game this morning after re-starting my PC - received a Steam update right at start-up and mouse issues with system and galaxy maps. Either do as above or ALT-TAB out, then ALT-TAB back in and the mouse will move. Until Steam fixes their last update, this'll have to be the way to fix it temporarily. BTW, there's at least 2-3 threads in the bug-reporting section of the forums on this issue already.

FYI, just received another Steam client update this evening. Looks like they fixed their own bug since the pointer now works again in both galaxy and local system maps.
