Introducing Nightmare Mode Hardcore X NG+ for color deficient eyeballs:
I love love love making custom buildings and using bright awesome colors for my park. I've been streaming my creations and having tons of fun, but what absolutely stinks is when I look over at chat and see, "That's not red."
A lot of the time, I make a building off stream and then screenshot it and sent it to a friend or use the eye dropper in photoshop to see if I'm remotely close to the actual colors I want.
I can never get roofs to match the walls. I don't really use any of the colorable flower pots--just the white one. I dunno what looks good next to the purple(?) flower cart prop. I literally don't use the green(?) column because I am not sure if it is actually green.
I kinda just stick to the default colors. Some colors are instantly recognizable--deep red, black, yellow, white, dark blue.
I'm a big showoff and I love sharing the stuff I build, but oof recognizing colors wrecks me lmao
My solution is easy (yes?)--mouseover tooltips for the color picker!
It was added in OpenRCT2 and holy MOLY it changed everything for me
I could confidently click on BROWN knowing it was brown and not dark red or something. Pinks aren't confused with greys, green for red, purple for blue, so on and so on and so on and so on.
Seems like an easy fix, but I dunno how important it is in this stage of development--lemme know what you think!
