Movable coaster supports.

Sorry if this has been asked or posted already I couldn't find it.

But will we be able to change the coaster supports location on the spine manually later on? If not I think this would be a great idea since I noticed some supports are far away from eachother because paths going under.

Greetings

It's not been announced that it's even something they are working on.

It has been announced that they are working on Supports being a little smarter and going to cliff faces instead of 2 miles down to the ground.

At the end of the day, the auto supports are far better than they were in RCT3 (i.e. they aren't all just vertical and they seem to at least attempt to be reasonably realistic according to height and objects beneath them).

If you want super realistic coaster and support building there is always No Limits 2.

I personally like the supports we have at the moment in the game... but they can and probably will change some aspects and features in the game considering after alpha we have beta releases before the final release. I like how the supports actually connect to the track naturally, as well as how well they did the footers. There are little details that could be implemented into the supports of coasters- one off the top of my head is spiral stairways wrapping down from the top of chain lifts to the main ground level.

I do hope they add more varieties of track inversions with the correct support system for- batwings, butterfly, dive drop and dive loop, horseshoe, immelman loop, inclined dive loop, interlocking loop, spash down, pretzel knot... along with different heights for loops. I also think it would add some realism aspects to the game if we could add catwalks to breakruns and other portions of tracks without using the chain mechanism.

The good thing is that the supports are very realistic and are almost identical to what they would look like in real life. (Thats what they said anyway). However I think it would be cool if they gave us a variety of different support types. This would help contrast the park.

We also have to remember that this is the first alpha and we weren't even supposed to be able to build coasters yet. I think there is a lot more to come that will greatly enhance the coaster building and look. Like the idea though.
