Moving Platforms UI

I know there are multiple threads about the moving platforms already but since this is specifically about the UI I thought I might create another one.

Since update 6 we got 4 more speed options on the moving platforms which is a great addition!! (I cant stress stress enough how I love these things!)
However the list of options becomes really long, especially since the dropdown is for both the animation type and the speed. It also seems some speed options are missing for some Animations, for example there is no Ultra Fast Half Chop. It would be great if all those missing animations could be added.

To get it a bit more organised I created 2 GUI examples of how it could be a bit more easy to find what you need :)

Heyo.

Also appreciate you guys looking into this. However, it didn't solve the initial issue that i had in Update 5 and before.

I would like to add to this, visually.
With uniformity and clarity i would change the speeds to a positive/minus as given in this image

Firstly, i changed the Animation Type to "Animation Preset" so that the user could get a quick half chop or quater chop or maybe full rotation.
Secondly, i changed the submenu speed.
Minus indicating a counterclockwise while positive indicates a clockwise movement.Additionally, You could make this entire rotating part more easy by giving it similar GUI that the game already has.
Speed, from the Powered automated vehicles
A max rotation, comes from the spinning coasters, would give me the ability to slide to my exact stopping point.
The waiting time, similar from the powered automated vehicles, will allow me to continue where i want.

The thing is, as a player i want to control the animations in all facets of the game. "I want this arm to go maximum of 181 degrees because there is where it connects to..."
And then i want it to pause for 2 seconds etc etc.
Please, make this uniform across the horizontal and vertical moving platforms aswell for maximum clarity and easiness.

Thank you in advance.

First of all, I love the amount of time and effort you spend into making this UI! Shows the amount of passion we share for this game!

I think your idea even surpasses mine as I think the positive and negative value's are even better then the "reverse" option. Great thinking there!

How would the max. rotation and wait work?
Would it mean the rotator rotates to a certain degree, then wait there for the amount of time you set at "Wait Time" and then it moves back? This would be amazing for doors!
The only thing we would sacrifice then is the snapping options, where it moves 1 way quickly, and then slow the other way. Anyway I would sacrifice that immediatly in favor of the way you described it above!

Any additional options would be great, but in case of moving platforms, why not using the full potential out of it? A moving platform sequencer would give unlimited variations. This could work together with different triggers, too.
Or at least a light version where you can add single, adjustable movements to a list.

What about "move to a", "wait x seconds", "move back", or " move on to b", then...?
Or for rotation only... "move to a with speed x", wait x seconds", "move back with speed y" or "move on to complete a full rotation"?

And of course, the platform pieces should be scalable (especially to small) and or invisible.

Max rotation simply having the direct input to what rotation you want it before it turns back. to 176 degrees, then back.
The wait simply a pause timer like any other in the game.

This would work great i guess with the horizontal movements, pause at a for x seconds then continue to b, like half steps or something
