Before I am shot down for this, consider it would not be the 1st time a space station moved, and i am only requesting within a system not flying it into hyperspace.
But i was wondering........ imagine you build your shiny new coriolis and after doing it realised you should have put it somewhere else.
i realise this is only for orbital stations not ground mounted ones however i wonder if FD would be interested in allowing us to move a station within a system (maybe something like the asteroid in For all mankind if anyone has seen that.
I know some have asked to be able to dismantle a station but that would still be a lot of wasted time. if it were in reality i do not believe a perfectly functional station would ever be destroyed and there would be a way of moving a station or orbital platform within a system.
this need not be free...... i expect hiring some specialist equipment to do this would not be cheap.
