Moving through the zoo via camera is extremely slow

I don't know if it is just me. Maybe this isn't even a bug and just my PC that's not really build for those high end graphics.
But a few days ago I experienced something weird. My zoo is pretty big and has a lot of buildings with many, many, many pieces. I got it from the workshop and it is absolutely beautiful and I love playing with it. My guest count is at 3500 at the moment, because I know from experiences in the past that a higher gust count is going to make the zoo unplayable for me. So maybe my machine is at its end already, I don't know. I just noticed that when I move through my zoo via camera and zoom all the way to the ground it goes smoothly and relatively fast. The higher I go up above my zoo, the slower I can move. When I am at maximum height above the ground the camera barely moves. Turtle-like slow. Snail-style. I can't get anywhere that way.

Is this a bug or just my gear being crappy?

(Also I'm sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes, english is not my first language)

Oh, I was hoping this is gonna be suggestion for a minimap, that'd be cool.
But yes, camera is slow, sometimes when you have T pressed and sometimes when you have a grid item/fence selected (it wants to keep you near that item I guess).

I was going to suggest the same thing: try clicking "T." The first time I had this happen I couldn't figure out what was going on or what I had done. I have the basic key controls memorized, but clicking "T" to slow camera scrolling down was something I missed in the tutorials, and I'm not sure why I'd even want to do this. I do this sometimes in games besides this one too. I'm a sloppy typist, and I often hit other keys by accident. Then comes the fun of figuring out if my game is bugging out or if I accidentally clicked a key that performs some really odd function.

Note, if there is a key that allows me to use the mouse wheel to scroll smoothly through building roofs and move around inside buildings that already have their roofs on, I haven't found it yet. The camera sticking and slowing down, then jumping out and showing me the building from above when I'm trying to hang something from a ceiling/roof inside a building or put other last minute interior touches, or to place a habitat barrier, inside a building seems to be a feature not a bug, but it's incredibly annoying.

If you have an issue with the game getting bogged down and running slowly, and yours is a windows machine, try using the task manager to bump up the priority for the game a notch or two (in terms of memory allocation). I find this really helps with a "bug" I encounter randomly in my zoos where menu buttons won't be clickable for a while.

The feature is under the details tab in the task manager. Scroll down to the planet zoo app and right click to select priority. It helps with that lag when the guest count gets high too. Note that you should be careful not to have much else running when you do this, as it can lead to crashes

It can be sometimes useful if you want to go really close for a Screenshot without clipping trough a Animal or Object. Don't really know what else it could be good for 🤔
