Moving to the next franchise

I am also finished for the moment with my first Franchise containing Asian animals. This means I will be opening a new franchise soon in Africa, am I correct in assuming that the one in Asian is effectively frozen in time and whenever I go back to it it will remain in it's current state i.e. the animals haven't aged, guests left etc. Do these things only advance for the franchise zoo you are actually in ?

Your understanding is correct, the only thing really linked is the animal trade storage, you share that between franchise zoos.

That and the zoopedia facts. Once you research an animal the facts stay with you thorughout the franchise.
