Anybody had any success binding the relevant axis In-Game to the Sidewinder? For the life of me I cannot seem to bind axis in-game to the flightstick.
Any ideas?

This should do it:
open options/controls in game
click pitch axis and then pull or push the stick
click roll axis and then pull the stick sideways
If the joystick is recognised as one by the game, that is.
Hmm. Windows and/or the stick's own software recognises all axes ok? Obvious, but I still ask, because e couple of times I've had my Logitech stick not responding in E: D, and the typical "restart PC" routine has cured that, it turned out that USB connection was acting up (so Logitech sw / Windows didn't register any input either). That's exactly what's not working: The game does not recognize some of the axis, ie roll and yaw in particular. Pitch seems to work but that's all.

Only one thing left to do: raise a ticket (if you already haven't) @ http://support.orerve.net/http/user/loginformYes.
Primary SIM is DCS so I know it works as it should. Also just checked in Windows and all good.
Just seems to be an Elite issue.
Submitted a ticket.
