MSI Afterburner and SSD

Will the use of a buffering video recorder such as MSI Afterburner cause problems with my SSD?

My understanding is that it uses a temporary file to store the last (say) 120sec of screen contents, and when you hit the record button, those 120sec are prepended onto the new capture file. I also understand that witing data to the same location on an SSD will cause it to fail more quickly.

So does anyone know if Afterburner does this? i.e. write content to the same physical drive locations repeatedly. If so, will SSD provisioning automatically deal with it, or should I be worried?

Thanks for reading...
