MSI Gaming App - VR Ready

I tried it once and all it seems to do is close all open apps and apply a slight overclock. I don't remember if it made any difference to performance or not. I just tried it again and got a few "sparklies" on the screen, I guess my card didn't like the OC. There's a bug because when I clicked on the close icon it went ahead and did the OC anyway.

p.s. is it just me or is that FAQ really bad? It doesn't tell you anything.

anything MSI related is terrible to find and vague at best, and usually naff (like the MSI liveupdate which just does not work)
The gaming app used to be so buggy it was unusable, but the latest version seems to work alright and is extremely handy for a quick and easy CPU and card boost

My copy of LiveUpdate works brilliantly. As does MSI AfterBurner.

My Vive works nicely today so I won't be adding more software. I am looking for an upgrade for my MSI GTX 980Ti though for a performance boost.

I've downloaded the link but once installed all I get is ( The platform does not support this application ) not sure what I did wrong

Gave it a shot. This is essentially the same as the Razor app released a while back that closes background applications (careful it'll ask to close Oculus and ED client) to free up a little resources. On my system, i5- GTX770 I was actually able to notice a little performance increase, about 5-10 FPS, which is rather nice I must say.

Not sure what you bleeding edge guys will see for increase but I may do some more testing to see if it'll remain stable. Thanks for the link. I do like the on the fly OC'ing, that's a nice touch and I saw a couple hundred increase sometimes in tests. Nice.
