Mud Runner - Hilarious truck sim!

I never thought i'd buy and play a game where all you do is driving through the muddy Siberian wilderness with soviet era trucks. But i do, and it is glorious!

Here is an informative review:

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
I've almost bought that game several times, but something always holds me back. I have the feeling I'd find it really cool for like 20 minutes. lol.

It is a proper sim, so in 20 minutes you have finished the most basic tutorial with a jeep. But the game offers 9 diverse challenges that keep you occupied if the free mode is too free for you.

Yup, Spintires re-released. With the same lead dev but completelty different publisher this time, as the previous OoVee was.. well.. just bad.
Best to play with friends in multiplayer.

Really hope that this time this game gets all the things it has potential for..

Never tried it but it always seemed to me to be the sort of thing that would be great to add realism to a game like ARMA, but as a standalone game looks a bit limited. In the same way that Beam NG's crash physics would be great in a game like GTA

i want to but not paying money for it any time soon after the debacle of the original game... I know they have their excuses and some may even be valid...... but for now i am waiting to see what they deliver when it is all done and dusted.

i do have spintires however and its one in the ever increasing pile of games i will get to one day.... usually i buy these games and wait for them to be finished before i start. (and spintires was never finished)

to me it would be like frontier ditching elite dangerous then David Braben going early access with "elite dangerous Space dust" and promising the exact same stuff as in the DDF but asking more money for it.

when it is completed, and if they add VR, THEN I will trust them... but now, even if they have their legitimate reasons for the way things went, they need to earn my trust before i part cash by releasing the full finished game

Game price: €30
Getting your friend stuck in the mud, using a winch, then releasing a winch and leaving him behind: priceless :D
