Hi!
I'm optimizing my loadouts (Imperial Courier, DBS, Cobra, Fer-de-lance) and picking the correct kinetic weaponry for small and medium encounters.
I've read that the larger cannons have a slower projectile velocity than their smaller counterparts (~860m/s small cannon, ~610m/s medium cannons), translating directly into an accuracy drop for faster/smaller targets. As I'm used to Fer-de-lance getting very close to its target with 4x class 2 multis, I assumed that it'd work today with other ships and even with large multi-cannons. But I now find myself missing a lot and imagining that it's the new AI. But one consideration would be to use small multicannons, sacrificing that extra +1 dps in favour of accuracy against small ships.
Does anyone have a comparative table for the projectile velocities of MC's or are they the same?
