Multi crew gunner

Hi all

ive tried to multi crew with a friend and ensure we left the wing first. He could join my crew ok and he assigned himself to the gunner position and I ensured I have turreted weapons but he is unablentofore

he is set his own fire groups and still not able to fire the turrets but he is able to target them ok

we both have horizons and all up to date also tried on pc version and we both still can't get it to work.
any ideas?

I had the same problem with 2 different co-pilots. I could hear when they deployed the weapons, but not able to fire.

Gunner should change view mode to able shoot. Look in the options and assign all multicrew buttons. Gunner must look at your ship from space, not from second pilot seat.

Its called mode toggle in the controls. Start>controls>>multicrew>mode toggle. Assign that to a button and you or your crew member will be able to go into 3rd person and use the guns. I did some experiments with it last night.
