Multi Crew : No Ships Available

Correct, it's the go-to line to try push more people into Mobius and it has to stop.

Open is not filled with toxic griefing kids, and those that were have left the game.

Even if that were true, I'm disinterested in shooting other players altogether. I'd be 100% fine if the game by default prevented all damage to other players as a baseline. Same goes for being shot.

Not to mention the addition of Engineers took a wrecking ball to any chances of me considering PvP. My hopes for a balanced playing field went out the window when their blueprints arrived (let alone weapon special effects).

After seeing someone get ganked at Felicity, I must disagree. How much tonnage have you hauled into a CG in open, and would you fly slowly or go AFK while flying non-PVP ships at a CG?

I think it's more that people don't work very hard hunting around the bubble looking for people to kill, they just go where they KNOW people will be: engineers, CGs, and grinding locations.

All the time. It's not hard to submit and jump away. And if it keeps happening then I swap out to another ship and hunt them down anyway.

It's the people who fight the interdiction, wait 60 seconds for the FSD timer then try low wake away that die, because they don't know the game mechanics for how to survive.

I remember saying at the time when multicrew was announced, it would be pointless without npc crew, as most people wouldn't want strangers in their ships, and a lot do play solo too. Another missed opportunity for frontier, npc crew would have added so much gameplay options, and is one of the things that would entice me back to play, i could have a pilot and command the ship like a capt would, no more constant jumping either.

If they coupled npc crew, with a captains cabin, with full access to maps, station bulletin boards, and galnet, i could be planning my next endeavors on route from my cabin.

Multicrew's potential was utterly wasted on two tasks thats only useful on very very few ships, and only in combat. When they gave us a sneak peak before 2.3, *everyone* told FD this would be messy and unpopular, and sure enough it is.

They could have made multicrew about being an energy boosting and hull repairing engineer that all multiseat ships could have supported. They could have given multicrew a purpose in exploration by having a science station making scanning systems much faster. Or said engi boosting jump range. They could have made it so a crewman could search for optimal missions for greater payout and boost trade revenue.

I though of all that in 10 seconds. And so could all of you. Just not FD.

Multicrew sucks. Period.
