(Multi)crew wanted for low-level AX patrols

Disclaimer: I’ll be totally honest, the cockpit of my shiny new Crusader with the two co-pilot stations behind the main helm is looking a bit lonely, and I’d love some screenshots of a full crew compliment to add to my virtual LARPing album :geek: so now the honesty is out of the way...

I'm looking for a crew...

The Green Howard (specifications here) is a Lakon Crusader-class AX support vessel currently on deployment in the Witch Head Nebula. I'd hoped to have a play with wings, multicrew and all the co-op delights at the last CG but unfortunately 'real life' got in the way and I missed the majority of it. Never mind, as my flotilla should still be out there and it's still a fine opportunity to try and fill that cockpit and have a lark about bullying some Thargoid scouts should we find any. I'm very much a casual player, so anything more than scouts is above my pay grade I'm afraid so this is principally a chance to have a bit of fun with multicrew (which I've never tried before) and see if it can add a new dimension to the game. If anyone is interested in becoming casual no-strings in-game friends please reply here or send me a direct message, or just dive right in to PSN (my PSN name is the same as my forum name) and we can try and arrange some fun entry level xeno-hunting. If you're an experienced AX pilot with knowledge to pass on that's even better! Just don't expect me to be a fast learner...

What you can expect from me:

The Green Howard has been fitted specifically with multicrew functionality in mind.
It comes fully equipped with a class-3 AX multicannon turret for the gunnery officer, and a class-6 SLF hangar carrying both a Taipan AX variant with fixed AX multicannon armament and a conventional Taipan with gimballed beam lasers so there is something for fighter pilots of all skill levels.
The mix of conventional and AX hardpoints on both the Crusader hull and Taipan fighters gives the crew the versatility to tackle low-level AX threats and also engage in anti-piracy or bounty hunting against human foes.

A light-hearted, casual roleplay style of game. I am an independent pilot not beholden to any superpower, though my previous ties to the Alliance means I still lean heavily towards them. As such, pilots of any affiliation who are looking for a bit of generally law-abiding gameplay are welcome to apply. I'm fully aware of my novice experience of this galaxy, and even though I will man the helm all decisions on where to fly, what to shoot and so on will be made in consensus so everyone has a fun time.
As a casual roleplay-oriented fellow you can expect me to shout standard sci-fi spaceship tropes through the voice comms such as "all hands, action stations", "brace for impact", "incoming" and the like, so feel free to join in and do your best imitation of the NPC fighter pilot chatter. If you choose to man the large AX turret you will have full liberty to track and engage any targets provided you yell "GIT SUM" as you do so because it's a proven fact that it will increase your dakka.

If this experiment is a success and more sessions can be arranged, the modular hull will allow us to adapt to new threats and challenges. Perhaps as gunnery officer you'd prefer the class-2 hardpoints turreted and a big ol' seeker rack on the class-3 turret? Can do! Maybe as fighter pilot you want to play about with a different loadout than I've got currently, or even the Federal or Imperial fighter models? No problem! Space madness setting in? Well then lets two of us hop in the SLF of our choice and have at each other! Feeling 'ard and want to fly right into the heart of the maelstrom in a CZ? Lets go to work CMDRs!

Ultimately, this is an appeal to help me live out the fantasy of running a proper spaceship with a full crew, however briefly; I'm imagining that dependent on our loadout the Crusader hull can provide either that 'Queen of the Skies' feel with dorsal/ventral turrets like a WW2 bomber, or the 'miniature Midway' carrier atmosphere with the two SLF dancing about. I know there are in game tools to matchmake for multicrew but it feels better to lay everything out on the table first so we all know what we're getting into. Making new in-game friends is alway good as well, so feel free to contribute if you have any thoughts or experiences on multicrew as implemented and need to tell me I'm wrong about something.

Thank you for reading, and if you're interested in getting involved in my multicrew shenanigans then shout up and we'll see what can be arranged (y) o7 CMDRs!

Sounds like fun, missed the CG too because I was busy unlocking ax tech. Also never done multicrew or ax, so I'm interested in giving it a go.
At the moment I'm near Peiades Nebula trying to get a permit for Hip22640 and checking out the listening beacons stuff in the area. The area is crawling with Thargoids.
I have an ax Krait mkII, still unengineered that I've never even used yet.
I'll keep an eye out for when you're online.
Far as I know you're already on my friend list.
What time zone you in?
