Hi,
I hate wasting space in my optional modules slots by fitting a class 1 discovery scanner in a class 2 slot or a class 2 SRV hangar in a class 3 slot.
I'd really like to be able to fit an Advanced Discovery Scanner + a Surface Scanner in a Class 2 slot, or a Class 1 FSD Interdictor + a Docking Computer + a Limpet Controller in a Class 3 slot...
My suggestion is to add Modules Racks that allow the fitting of multiple small modules in a single larger slot.
Of course it must have some limitations to avoid abusive overpowered builds :
- Module Racks should be limited to class 2 and 3
- Module Racks should have a base weight of 4T for class 2 and 8T for class 3 for example
- Class 2 Module Racks can be fitted with 2x Class 1 modules
- Class 3 Module Racks can be fitted with 3x Class 1 modules or 1x Class 1 + x1 Class 2 modules
- Military modules must not be allowed inside Module Racks, Hull Reinforcements, Module Reinforcements and Shield Cell Banks
- Guardian modules must not be allowed either
Think about this...
Thanks.
