Hardware & Technical Multi monitor resoltuion issue

Hello all, just picked up a cheap second monitor as i am relegated to my laptop for a while.

The main display on my laptop is 1920x1080, however the new monitor is a lower resolution. whenever i boot up ED i cannot increase the resolution beyond that of the new monitor.

Any help would be appreciated, been a long time since i've had to deal with mismatched resolutions.

Just for reference, laptop is running windows 10, main gpu for elite is nvidia 960m.

Solved - somehow

issue appears to have done a windows and mysteriously solved itself, made no changes at all so yeh, sorted
