Multi-star system : wich star should be considered as the main one for light ?

I know that the graphic engine can handle only one light. But i found this :

Does anyone know if FDev explained how such cases were supposed to be handled ?

all stars should illuminate, unless theres universe hax of closest or biggest star magically blocking the photons from another. simpler:if you can see it, it should illuminate a planet unless blocked.

now about finding a perma day landable planet?

Unfortunately the engine can't handle this, FDev explained this in a devstream. But i don't remember if they explained how they choose the star that will be used as main light source.

So, should i open a bug for this kind of case ?

They could at least have the distant planets affected by more than one light and then pick the strongest one for the surface lighting.

At least you could have some night rim lights. I've seen so many pure black planets that are nearby suns because some other sun far away seemed to be the dominate light source.

Maybe fade between them by distance, all pretty pointless since they don't seem to have the capabilities anyways.
