Multicrew and VR

I have a DK2 and it works fine with the beta... however, when in a multicrew seat, the other crewmembers all look about the size of 8 year old children - they are tiny. It's not helped that the seats are so large compared to the person which probably adds to the scale problems.

Now this may be specifically because I'm using old unsupported hardware now, so - if you have a CV1/Vive, does everything in the ship look the right size?
Are there any configuration tweaks I can make to fix the scaling?

For me, the size is about 90% of what it should be, so pretty good (CV1)

No word from Frontier about how they organise the IPD, but it certainly seems to be hard coded. Some people will see things too big, some will see things too small.

If you have a Rift the scale should be fixed now. Oculus remedied the problem sometime last year. However some people need to do a full removal of Home, reg keys and all config files for it to work. Particularly if you ever used a DK2 on your system or used the old IPD hex edit hack that worked around the problem prior to the official fix from Oculus.

I had the same issue with my CV1, everything looked so tiny so I used the hex edit hack to get things to scale. Since the Oculus update and doing a complete removal of everything Oculus related from my system the scale is now perfect in Elite and all other games in VR.

OP, Oculus Home now uses the Rifts lens slider to calculate the users IPD, the DK2 doesn't have the slider and as such sets the IPD to the default 64mm I believe. The only way around this is to use the hex edit hack. Details here:

It also works on the CV1. However I'd recommend fixing your install over using it for the CV1.
