I brought a teammate on my ship for some light combat. I gave him control of my seeker missile launchers. He has them configured to fire buttons, multicrew controls are configured, the launchers lock on aaaaand... he cannot shoot. What could be the problem? He mapped the fire buttons for multicrew correctly. He has fully control over all the other multicrew features!

Honestly I 've never tried missiles, but with other weapons I did use, there are variants that can and cannot be used by your crew, e.g. turrets vs. gimballed lasers, etc.
So check if your missile launchers have the "can be used by gunner" icon.

He successfully assumed control of them. Its the firing part that doesn't work.
Has he waited for them to lock on properly?
I really don't like how people just jump into topics, read OP's last submission and assume that's all what this is about.
