Multicrew in Solo Mode - Seriously, read please

Multicrew in Solo would be a great Addition.

The Solo mode is not restricted to "Play alone". The reason Player go in solo is to not meet other Player ships ganking or killstealing. Which shouldn't prevent them from playing together with other Players of that mode in a single ship ("Solo" redefined somehow in "Solo ship").

As in every other mode, multicrew could still be activated / deactivated so Solo will remain completely Solo for those who go there to legit be alone.

I really missed that multicrew Option while being in a CG Haz RES in Solo. I wouldn't have switched to a Group, set aside to Open, because of the killstealing competition there, but would have loved to Play there together with other commanders in my SLFs or at my turrets.

My Suggestion in Dangerous Discussion earned some Opposition, but much more Rep, so I am sure the demand would be there. Also, AFAIK, Solo Mode hoards the majority of Players, so the Player pool that could potentially Access your ship / open theirs is much bigger. This would be a great Chance for Multicrew.
 
Definition of "Solo", Oxford English Dictionary:

"For or done by one person alone; unaccompanied."

Was the title meant to mean "seriously read this", or "please take it seriously"?

Please don't stay focused on the Name of the Mode. We all know why People go in Solo mode in the first place. Well there can be some who truly want to be alone, but then they can just ignore the Multicrew Option, since it's not mandatory, likewise any other mode. The sole Name of the mode is not an Argument against implementing Multicrew. It's just a Name. There are no drawbacks for any Player to implementing this. On the contrary, there will be Players who will appreciate it.

There may be technical restrictions I'm not Aware of, but this is something only FDev can look into.

So yes, this is to be taken seriously. Don't be fixated on the Name of the mode. :)

So basically, this is an opportunity to revitalise mob mentality towards "those gankors", given you know Solo mode exists for only you, and we mysteriously skipped over the existence of PGs?

In PG's there are other ships who can killsteal or even PVP if not Möbius or such. I tried the last CG in Möbius and while in Haz RES, there were plenty of Player ships and almost no NPCs, and I couldn't invite them to wing because they were already and got no Invitation. The few NPC who spawned were killed before I got there. In Open it was even worse. I was too busy looking for NPCs to even think about Multiplayer. And while I finally had a ball in Solo, I wished for some commanders to drop into my ship. Because my NPC Crew is good at Shooting things, but his scripted order confirmations start to get on my nerves.

So no, this isn't about gankers in the first place. This is also about enhancing game experience by opening a game mode to a Feature FD put horrendous efforts into implementing yet doesn't get the success it deserves. Why having to choose between Solo mode and Multicrew? Why punish Solo Players by removing this Feature from their game?

Sorry mate, this is either desperate propoganda or just entitlement on an entirely new level. There are three game modes, two of which are meant to support players wanting to avoid the risk of seeing everyone else, and because you can't work out how to enter a PG without there being others in it, you want FD to redefine and restructure Solo mode so that it no longer acts as a Solo mode - because you get annoyed by ship crew voice prompts?

Noone is forced to use Multicrew, like in any other mode. I mentioned gankers in the first post because I wanted to list all Advantages, even if they don't affect me personally (never been ganked). Sorry mate but you still haven't brought up which drawback if any prevents you from supporting that Suggestion. All I hear is "it's called Solo". That's not a drawback. That's a Name. And noone is prevented from being legit alone in Solo mode because of that implementation.
